Quick update. I'm still doing really well with my leg. The rehab process continues to be somewhat tough, but it's fun. I need this. My quads burned like heck today
I took a brisk walk here in the 'hood. I think it was approximately 2 miles all together. About a quarter of the way in, I could feel the burn. I was definitely reminded of how out of shape my legs are. All good, though. Carry on. The walk was my warm up.
Continued on with my floor exercises and added stair stepping. If you ever meet someone that has wanted me to assist them in losing weight and working out, they'll tell you two things.
- Do push-ups
- Find some stairs
As simple as those are, they are highly effective. So I implemented stairs today. BURNED!!! Finished off with some deep stretching and a tiny bit of yoga poses. A good hour had passed and I felt whooped on. I know I did something right.
Anyway, that's just a brief update as I know there are a few of you that genuinely care about it and look for these updates from me. I thank each of you for caring and the cheer leading. This is only the beginning.
