So my man Steve Brazill is not only an amazing photographer but also a great podcast host. He hosts a show called Behind The Shot which features great images and the photographers explaining the thought process of the image captured. This particular episode is a bit different. Brazill is joined by Canon’s Technical Advisor Mr. Rudy Winston and he does a ridiculously THOROUGH explanation of the way Canon’s autofocus system works in its new mirrorless cameras. But don’t worry, this explanation is applicable to most cameras today. Not just the Canon system. Definitely worth a watch. Check it out below.
I Shared My Experience Shooting Photos in China
A few years ago I had the opportunity to cover CES Asia in Shanghai, China. It was my second opportunity to visit another country for my work and my first time in Asia. It was AMAZING and I’ll never forget it. A little while ago, I was approached by my man Steve Brazill to be a guest on his podcast Behind The Shot to discuss a particular photograph I captured while I was in China. No, it’s not the photo below, but if you click on the photo below, you’ll be able to watch the video and see the image I captured. For the record, the show below was actually captured in China. THANKS for checking it out and thanks to Steve Brazill for having me on. And thanks for buying me a beer. 🤜🏾
I REALLY Enjoyed This Chat With Steve Brazill and Don Komarechka
My friends, Steve Brazill, the amazing concert photographer, and the author plus awesome macro photography genius, Don Komarechka had me as a guest on their recent image critique podcast. If you’re not subscribed to Behind The Shot TV, do it now. The show consists of interviews with photographers to discuss a particular shot in their portfolio wherein the photographers share a bit of insight on how the shot came together. Also, the show has a separate series strictly viewable on YouTube that’s an image critique show dedicated to the Behind The Show TV Flickr group. Brazill and Komarechka and sometimes a third guest host critique the images submitted by the Flickr group. I enjoyed being a part of this episode and look forward to joining these gents again. Thanks for watching and sharing this show with your photography friends.
