Ron Swanson Thursday - November 14, 2013

I'm off from work today to support my beloved Clemson Tigers. I'm sure my colleagues are happy they don't have to deal with one of the guys in IT that says "no" or the guy also known as the #LargeAngryBlackMan. Enjoy today's Ron Swanson Thursday post. If you have any you'd like shared, let me know. Be sure to check out my previous mindless post here on antpruitt.com. Comments are always welcomed.

New Things From the Clouds

Those of you that may care have probably heard that the FAA now allows use of certain personal electronic devices during takeoff and landing of airplanes. No more of the "turn your cell phone off" talk when you're getting ready to depart. This was big news to some folks. I wrote a lil' more eloquently about this on aNewDomain. Just click here to read that piece (please and thank you).

Anyway. . . .

Screwing around on my twitter feed today I saw Delta Airline had some fun with the new rulings. It launched a contest of some sort to show off pictures taken #Below10kFeet. I didn't read the contest details. Didn't care that much, but I submitted one. Click on that hash tag to see some of the other submissions. Pretty cool.

I think this was a great idea from Delta. You?

I Took A Quick Snap Before Work

Today is Halloween. Sure. Whatever. But This is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Our office here at TriNet-SOI has a few pink ribbons displayed for awareness as we usually do. As I was pulling into the parking lot this morning, the skies were kind to me and offered a great photo opp. The perfect mix of clouds, moisture and sunlight hitting the large panes of glass on our building presented a pink hue. I had to capture it and share. This is awareness! :)
