I’ve been a fan of MSI laptops for quite a while now. Ever since they sent me a review unit last year, I decided to keep an eye on its product line. Heck, when I accepted my new job at TWiT, I opted for a particular MSI laptop to use as a workstation. I LOVE it.
Now the Prestige line of laptops from MSI has a new bit of flair to offer content creators in with its rose pink model. This laptop with bold hardware inside is reflected with a bold exterior chassis.

What’s Inside?
The Prestige lineup is geared for the content creator. Photographers, graphic artists, video creators and so forth. So one can expect the hardware to be solid from the CPU, GPU, RAM and storage options. This 14-inch, IPS, 1080p display is pushed by an NVidia GTX1650 graphics card as well as 16GB RAM which is upgradable to 32GB, a 512GB SSD for storage and a six core Intel Core i7 processor.
Of course it’s running Windows 10, but if you want to run Linux on it, you can. You also get two Thunderbolt ports and two USB-A ports. Ports matter to content creators. Battery life is touted to be at 10 hours. I don’t ever put faith in those numbers because you can burn through a lot of battery power when you’re processing motion graphics or large Photoshop files.
