What a Fourth of July!

Well today was Independence day. It was good day. I had no idea what it had in store for me and fam. First I thought I'd spend the day on the couch watching DVR, web tv and playing Call of Duty. Sprinkled in with a nap or two and some beers. You know? Just chillin'. Well it didn't work out that way, and I'm glad.

My readers all know that I enjoy spending time with my fam. The #hardheadz are really entertaining if you just sit back and watch. I want to share a few things with yall from our July 4th holiday. We ended up going to the local amusement park, Carowinds

Today's weather was riddled with flash flood warnings and thunderstorms. I didn't care. I figured the rain would come and go. It did. It rained as we arrived, but it died down within about 15 minutes. Off we went to tackle our favorite roller coasters.

The #hardheadz have decided to try to take on the bigger coasters and shy away from the kiddie coasters. As usual, I like to capture them with my smartphone camera. This shot was taken with the front facing camera on my phone. I absolutely love how it came out. It was totally lucky.

Ok, i loved that shot. But I wanted to catch a video of them. The first video I'm chalking up as a fail. It's only about 30 seconds. :(

Ok. So it failed. This next vid though, I am quite proud of it. By the way, I did these images and videos with the front facing camera. The only problem I have with it is the aspect ratio. I will try the rear camera next time. But I gotta tell ya, I think this is the best vid ever of the #hardheadz being who they are. This is featuring my youngest one at age 7. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed it. If ya like it, be sure to click that "like" button and share it with others for me. I really appreciate it.  Peace!
